How Labrador Works

Labrador structures your audit around the WCAG success criteria that matter. You work through each criterion, mark it Pass / Fail / N/A, log issues with screenshots and severity levels, and generate a polished report, all without leaving the browser.
1

Create an account

Sign up at testwithlabrador.com, the Free plan requires no credit card.
2

Create a project

Choose a testing methodology (WCAG 2.2 AA Testing or VPAT® 2.5 – WCAG 2.2) and give your project a name.
3

Add pages and components

List the URLs and UI components you want to audit. Labrador keeps results for each one separate.
4

Work through the criteria

Evaluate each WCAG criterion, log any failures with evidence, and track remediation progress.
5

Export and share

Generate an interactive HTML report, VPAT DOCX, or CSV, ready to send to clients or developers.

What Makes Labrador Different

Manual-first by design

Automated tools catch roughly 30% of accessibility issues. Labrador is built specifically for the manual testing that catches the rest.

Guided WCAG workflow

Built-in testing tips, sub-criteria breakdowns, and “Why This Matters” context for every WCAG success criterion.

AI-assisted remediation

Generate developer-ready remediation guidance from live page HTML using the Labrador Chrome extension, powered by Claude Opus.

Client-ready exports

Interactive HTML reports, fully-editable VPAT DOCX, and Jira-ready CSV, no extra formatting required.
